Long straight utility trench across a field

Utility
Trenching

Straight, clean trenches at the right depth for water, electric, gas, fiber and drainage — bedded and backfilled the way they should be.

Trenching

Cut Straight, Set Right

Whether you're running a new water line to a shop, burying electrical conduit out to a barn, or carrying drainage away from the house, a trench is only as good as its depth, bedding and backfill. We dig it straight, set your line right, and close it back up clean — runs of 600 feet and beyond are no problem.

Trenching for any utility means knowing what's already in the ground. We work with proper line locates before we dig so your new run doesn't cost you an old one.

What We Trench For

  • Water & supply lines — to homes, shops, barns, pastures and livestock.
  • Electrical conduit — buried service runs to outbuildings, shops and gates.
  • Gas & propane lines — trenched to depth for safe, code-conscious runs.
  • Fiber & communication — internet and low-voltage lines, buried and protected.
  • Drainage & pipe — moving water away from where you don't want it.

Depth, Bedding & Backfill Done Properly

A line buried too shallow or backfilled with rock is a future repair waiting to happen. We dig to the right depth for the utility, bed the line so it's protected, and backfill and compact so the ground settles right and your yard isn't left a mess.

Long Runs, Tight Spots

From a 600-foot run straight across a pasture to a careful trench threaded between trees and existing lines, we've got the equipment and the patience to get it where it needs to go.
